Honda Insight Navi / Cruise

Hi all !

I have an Insight domestic model & it has come with an "Internavi system" which is completely in Japanese (Navigation/central audio/bluetooth etc...) would anyone know;

1) If the whole system could be converted to English?

2) If not, if at least the navigation system could be reprogrammed to English & put local maps?

3)If the car could be upgraded with an after market cruise control system?

The answers are simple

1. No - No system currently exists to convert the Japanese version to another language. The problem has been compounded by the fact that the UK sourced cars do not have the same features of the Japanese hence there is no comparable unit that you can easily find and swap to.

2. No - No system currently exists to reprogram an existing original nav unit. You can fit an after market unit in its place

3. No - I have not heard of after market cruise control systems but I imagine they would be downright dangerous.

And finally if you searched the forum or even searched the internet, you would have easily found the answers. You are sadly one of many users stuck with this problem.
