Hi All,

Please advice me on Honda City 2003/4. I read old posts as well- its automatic gear box is famous for issues.

I am planning to go for a manual one(so not to worry on gear box issue)

What is the average market price of this car these days? Are there any special things need to be checked?

Are there JDMs of this model?

There are no JDM versions of the city. They were made for the Asian market in Thailand and India.

The vin plate in the engine bay will state which factory it came out of.

The automatic gearbox is a CVT and had issues if the ATF was not changed on time or not changed with Honda CVT oil. The auto was reported to be very economical, so as long as the box in good condition don't worry about buying one.

Prices used to be just above 2 million though not sure where they are now.

Thanks for the reply. I checked one manual one and it was not in good condition. You are correct, the country was mentioned in the vin plate. I will post once I find a good one.
