Honda Es8 Steering Rack Noise

My 1st post in AL

I have a honda civic es8 2002 model with electronic power steering and it gives taka taka noise which is really unpleasant

According to AL forum and from what I heard, I need to replace a bush(with teflon or nylon, and i don't know what is that bust is about).

I called stford and they told, replacing only the bush will not do the work and need some other parts also to be replaced , cost is about 25k with no warranty

Called another place in Maharagama (advertisement from hitad) they also told me the same story, bush+shaft repairing should be done.cost is 15k with 1 yr warranty

So I want to know past experience from the people who has done eps repairing and a good place where it can be done properly??

I have a similar kind of problem on my car Honda Fit. Sometimes it gives taka taka noise when going on rough roads. And also the steering wheel feels very tight and not smooth as earlier.

I did checked the steering rack and other physical parts like rackends, joints ... but they (Not Stford Motors) says there's no damage.

If you got to know the exact problem and place to fix it, share on the thread ....
