Nze 141 Engine Tuneup

My axio 2011 has done 65000km and as the second owner i haven't got any service rocords of the previos engine tune ups. Recently i have noticed a slight vibration when the engine is at idle(gear position at D). All filters have been changed at the recent service. Also the engine seems to be bit slow at idle. Fuel consumption is normal.

Any good place for an engine tune up around wattala other than the agents?

Idle vibration at D is slightly higher than N & P due to engagement and its normal. But if same has increased recently, then only you should pay attention.

Did you replaced your battery without giving supplementary power.? Then its possible due to resetting learned parameters. If so you have to ride the car some time to set them back.

If not, start from basics,

Step 1 - Check all mounts

Step 2 - Observe whether it depends on engine temperature.

Step 3 - Use injector cleaning liquid (branded one) with fuel and observe any difference

Then only you should move for further action. If this observed in D position only, you should think about GB side too.

I live close to wattala too... nope there are no one around... go to Mr. Dhammika Fernando... he is in kotta road, that where I got mine done from...
