Which Um Service Station Is Better?

Hi Friends,

I bought a petrol Outlander from the agents last month now the first service is due at 1000km. UM has two service stations in Colombo. Namely, Hyde park corner and Orugodawatta. Almost same distance to both locations from my home. With my experience of A*W, service levels are different at each location though company tries to maintain same standards. I’m trying to pick the best (in terms of quality of service) UM service station out of the two. Can someone who used the services of these two workshops share the experience? Has anyone tried out both and which one you feel better?

Orugodawatta is the main workshop complex and all repairs are carried out there (including body repairs and stuff as well) whereas Hyde Park does most repairs (I remember seeing a list of what each branch does - maybe on their website). If I were to pick one out of them, I would definitely pick Orugodawatta because of the following reasons:

- Spacious environment

- Separate service area

- Higher probability of parts availability due to the massive storage facility

- The vehicles are tested within the premises whereas they are tested on public roads at Hyde Park Corner

- Generally the good experience I have had at Orugodawatta

I can recommend Orugodawatta. It's a decent place with plenty of space and the staff are OK. I used to do all work on the Perodua there and have had a good experience overall.
