Is it true that lokheed brake fluid has reduced its' boiling point in their new products? I had a bad experience when I changed my brake oil recently. The rubber washers got out of shape. What a good brake fluid in the market? is wagner available in Sri lanka. How about Seiken brake fluid?

The boiling point is decided by the DOT standard not the brand name, provided of course, the manufacturer follow the standard and quality is maintained. Do you know what brand of brake oil and its DOT specification used in your vehicle previously and now?

Slight deviation of boiling point does not provide any remarkable difference in family/street cars. High boiling point meant for vehicles in racing tracks probably fully synesthetic or synthetic blend.

Moisture absorbed in the Brake fluid further reduces the boiling point with usage time, must be replaced with new fluid. Used Fluid colour appearance in the reservoir says a hint to replace.

Seik *n Brake fluid was not popular in Sri Lanka was available in few decades ago.

Most probably your old brake oil was so old it had water in it ruining the seals.
