Need advice on Mitsubishi Pajero Engine

Hi 

Urgently need your assistance .I have a Mitsubishi pajero engine 4m40 twin turbo recently its been having problem with the engine.

Managed to secure an engine but its a 4d56 engine.Can this engine be mounted on the 4m40 engine gear box?

There have been no twin turbo diesels in the history of Mitsubishi
