Hi all,  I’m planning to exchange my existing car to a new one from a car sale.  Is it ok for me to just sign the transfer papers and hand over with other documents to the Car sale? because it will take time for them to resale it.

As long as you get your new car transferred to your name you will be financially safe. The risk is for example while your old car is in the hands of the car sale if they use it for some nefarious activity, then you will be in trouble until you establish your innocence. These things are not unheard of. I know of a recent case when a car was left at the agent for a service and collection at the end of the day, the service guys took the car out, changed its battery with another old one of the same type and returned the car. Somehow they forgot in their haste the dash cam and got caught.
