Question

Good day gentlemen

I have read the already posted articles and views about Toyota Wigo. I want to know whether anybody using this car has undergone any issues. And i haven't seen this car on road. When i inquired from Toyota, they said they have sold xxx units mostly in Kandy, Galle and Kurunegala areas. I wonder why this car is rare to find in Colombo.  I am interested in this car compared to Indian versions. Please provide your opinion and what you know about this car since this is fairly new in SL.

Thank you in advance

Colombo people are much smarter they buy the same vehicle from another make for much lower price or better vehicles offered by other makes at lower price.

What Kush is trying to say is Toyota Wigo is the same vehicle as Perodua Axia. It's called rebadging (fixing different manufacturers badges to the same car). Only difference it seems is its very expensive to manufacture a toyota badge, probably due to the number of curves on the badge so Wigo is a few hundred thousand more expensive than the Axia. They also need to reduce some options to make room for the badge.

i went to TL sometime back to check out a vehicle for my father in law . considering the price, options and build quality we decided to go for a Wagon R FZ instead
