Car buying advice

Recommended Posts

Getting a 121 will be pointless as it is the same class of car as the Sunny. It will be good on fuel but finding a good unit would take some work.

The Premio/Allion 240 are actually pretty decent cars. I find them not as boring as the newer 260 series. Again, the good ones hardly ever come up for sale as people hold on to them. The ones taht do come up for sale are mediocre and over priced.

Personally I would say go for the newest possible car that you can...which leaves the Mazdas. These mazdas are actually a lot more fun to drive that the Toyotas...

On the subject of Mazdas it will be a little difficult to find a good condition axela for 3.3. I am also on the lookout for one and people who maintain them well seem to be very reluctant to sell or would ask around 3.4-3.6.

The demio is a good option if you can live with a hatchback. You can get a 2010 for around 3 million range. Find one with projector headlamps and rpm guage. The only thing you need to be on the lookout are the steering racks, as these are known to give trouble.
