Steering conversion LHS to RHS - VW Jetta 2011 model

Dear friends,

Could you please advise if there any possibility to do the steering conversion for VW Jetta 2011 model?

I am planning to bring my car from Qatar to Sri Lanka as my contract is finished here.

Please advise.

are you on some Foreign worker(Blue) permit or something?

Normally its not  allowed to import

1.LHD vehicles

2.any vehicle more than 3 years old

so even if you made the conversion it should be done in Qatar,and its too old for normal imports.

there seems to be an update recently,but best way is to contact someone at the Import-export authority in Sri Lanka(and also dont forget to post your findings here)
