Antonfdo
Hi, If this question sounds stupid let me first of all apologize for it. I recently bought a Vitz 2018 SE2 Car. Can someone tell me what does the D-S and the B gear positions mean? What occasions can they be used for? I have attached a photo for reference. Thanks in Advance Anton

TheFlyingFox
S mode is not actually “sports” it raises the CVT trannies gear ratios to a higher ratio so that throttle response would be better. In s mode a slight press on the accelerator will raise the rpm a lot as @hrm said hence providing better acceleration. Useful in hilly areas or to have a little bit of fun.
