Recently, got the opportunity to see and get inside of The one and only Japanese V12, Toyota Century(a.k.a Japanese Rolls Royce). Is it really upto Rolls Royce standards? Nope, I don't think so. The cost of renting something for a month or two (even more - personal imports have been quite messy of late) made me wonder if it actually makes sense to buy a quickly disposable car and get rid of it in a couple of months - but it seems the 'popular' models aren't moving. My mechanic is doing an overhaul of a Toyota 122 engine ( it was burning a lot of engine oil ).
The engine parts (head, sump) have a lot of varnish deposited.
Can you please let me know a good way or solution to get rid of this varnish/sludge ?
I thought of getting the 3m carburetor cleaner but I dont know where I can buy it here in Sri Lanka ?
This is similar to how the engine parts look (although not the engine that Im overhauling)
