Vehicle Registration Number sticker

Hi Guys,

Quick question, is it essential to have the small sticker pasted on windscreen mentioning the vehicle registration number ? Do I need this if I sell my vehicle ? If so is it possible to apply for a duplicate ?

Yes. It's essential. When you handover number plates (replacement due to province change, etc,) you should return the sticker as well. 

New sticker is having a proximity sensor as well.

To get a duplicate you would need to file a police report. Tell them you lost the sticker, fill some paperwork and you'll get a new sticker in a week or so.

Probably for future use. Like ETC.
