Squeaking Noise from the tray in the boot

I have an EP91 Starlet and the tray in the back (above the boot) which is hanging by two ropes like things is squeaking. The squeaking sound I don't mind and it isn't big enough to show my mechanic. Any DIY solutions? I've seen other cars have this tray as well so it might not be an exclusive problem to starlets.
