Recently, got the opportunity to see and get inside of The one and only Japanese V12, Toyota Century(a.k.a Japanese Rolls Royce). Is it really upto Rolls Royce standards? Nope, I don't think so. Items like Switches and mirror housings are in plastic. But, we can be assured that the dashboard will not light up like Christmas and would run forever....· 1 reply

The cost of renting something for a month or two (even more - personal imports have been quite messy of late) made me wonder if it actually makes sense to buy a quickly disposable car and get rid of it in a couple of months - but it seems the 'popular' models aren't moving. I have an EP91 Starlet and the tray in the back (above the boot) which is hanging by two ropes like things is squeaking. The squeaking sound I don't mind and it isn't big enough to show my mechanic. Any DIY solutions? I've seen other cars have this tray as well so it might not be an exclusive problem to starlets.
