Check engine light of Audi

Hi all,

 

My check engine light lit up after running about 100Km after recent service. Agents carried out a scan and said error is shown in the catalytic converter and was due to poor fuel quality, as per them about 30 vehicles came with the issue recently, They showed me photos of tar like substance clogging. error was deleted and they recommended to use an octane booster(Liquimoley) once and then a fuel tank additive injector cleaner to see if it will clear up.

As per them octane boosters should not be used regularly and Eco tablets is a big no.

I pumped 95 petrol throughout from IOC even during the peak of shortage, so now i think it is not possible to use Euro vehicles in Sri Lanka due to shortage of spares as well as poor fuel quality.
