Honda Life (any Reviews?)

Yes exactly. More prestigious than using a Maruti if you are looking at fuel economy. I saw there is a KE number plated car for 15,000X57 in Dehiwala. The owner is leaving it seems. I am sure this does more than 16km per liter.

Car seems too fragile lol.. just like humpty dumpty.. one fall and in its a goner.. for 1 mil+ there are more cars available rather dan going for recon Life.. could very well save a bit and aim for a bit more "prestige" than the life dnt ya think ? ;-)

:) Love this "More prestigious than using a Maruti"

If u have 1.2 to drop and u want a prestige factor, there are things u can get other than kei cars.

he he for 1.2 you can look at an AE110 If your very lucky AE100, EG8, FB14, OR 93 sr20 maybe or even a Cultus or swift. maybe even a 323

none-the-less you can have a cefiro with money to spare for fuel for 6 months... maintenance has been taken care of :)

Good idea. but the key word here is the fuel economy. Life is a 660cc car

Beyond a certain limit, a small engine aint gonna help u save fuel unless u idle more than u drive. coz undersized underpowered engines have a hard time moving heavy cars. To compensate, u give more gas. And then u could find yourself doing even less fuel than a well tuned car with a bigger engine. Specially true in cars under 1000cc.

thats a very logical thought. I certainly agree with you. I think this car is K series and its quiet cheap and i think it fits my friend's budget. So since there are no big objections from the experts on this thread, i would give my green light to him too

Yeah man.. what pericles says is true.. underpowered engines would obviously light up ya thoughts in terms of drinkin a tad bit less petrol but hell.. it wouldnt be appropriate for long term use as the more weight you pull the more it would obviously drink...

think bout it.. a 1000C carrying lets say 4 people weighting 250 KGs would cruise easily around.. a 500C would gotta work harder to keep pulling that weight thus drinking more petrol.. itz quite logical frankly..

ado.. wit da loadza carz available man.. opt for a bit larger and good looking model.. after all buying a car is somewhat like buying a furniture... buy somethin good once n for al rather dan having regrets later on... tel ya buddy! lol
