Firstly I dont think most of the above mentioned 4x4's fall in the 2-3mil price range, well not as vehicles in a very reliable state.

Before we go anywhere, what do you want out of the 4x4? Off roading? Family vehicle? How many passengers & what kind of baggage?

Off roading? Family vehicle?  expecting both requirement with  6 passengers.

Going by your requirements I would suggest a good L300 4WD or a L400 4WD. Underpinnings from a Pajero good ground clearance and comfort to boot compared to your selection.

Alternatively look at a J36 as well.

The Gypsy can accomodate 6 but would you want your passengers to be uncomfortable? Maintenance wise it should be the cheapest and the most newest out of the lot.
