Fuel Ecomomy In Susuki Swift

Hi Guies,

Can any one plz tell me about how fuel economical is the Swift. In susuki maruti site they say that avg. fuel consumption is around 21kmpl. Is it possible???

Hi.

Suzuki Aerio Auto does 12 - 14 per liter with 1.5 motor. I think Swift too may be around that. Maruti does 17Km maximum per liter as I know.

i dunno abt the brand new swift,

but the 2002 model recon auto 13ltr does only about 9 in colombo running , since we have one in office , few others told the same .

The figure they quote on the websites and brochures are usually based on an ideal situation (constant speed, top quality fuel, etc) that would be VERY hard to replicate, in sri lanka anyway....

I Checked one out at A*W some time ago, the base model Manual should do around 13-14Km/L once it's properly run in... which seems about right.
