errr...how did you manage to do that.. must have been some serious rubbing ;)

hhehehheee!

ya, i've noticed this as well... some leather seats tend to like crack up with time... is this the case...

anyway, a frined of mine got his Nissan FB15 seates converted to leater.. meaning the meterial (cloth) was replaced by leather.. had cost him 15,000.... i dont have any experience with this kinda thing... so guys, if you think this is reasonable, maybe we can recomend Nawala C.W to judy. :)

but Judy, please do explain how you wore out the seats with your elbows

:)

My lovely height happens to be 5 feet no inches, which requires me to use a cushion to sit on while driving. Every time I adjust the darn thing, I keep jabbing the seat. Guess that explains how I managed to rip it (",)

I ain't gonna dump 15k to do up the seats...no way....not for this dinky toy....hehehe....I've heard about Nawala CW, but also heard that their prices have a tendancy to touch the sky  I'll probably have to get a quote from them by the looks of it, meanwhile, if there are any other places, I'll only be glad to give it a try

(The whole idea of having a Maruti is to enjoy cheap maintenance, a nice patch on the seat, and a camerflouge with seat covers is all it needs) :)

Yeah Praveen, your on the right track. Fear Me...I just could be ultra dangerous (",)

Nawala cushion works does a good job.... but their prices are bit on the higher side. There's another good place in Nawala Road... "Sevana Cushion works" (the way I can remember) they also do a better job... and the prices are reasonable, next to 4th lane... near the big drapers place. Check that place also.....

:D

Rs.15,000 for leather conversion... this is defiantly should be with synthetic leather or leatherette. Otherwise it'll cost you somewhere around 100,000. But real classy.

Go to Darley Road and pick up a seat cover for 1000 bucks. The most practical and easiest and cheapest way! and you get it any color from pimp to posh!

Bumping this ancient thread to see if there's any suggestions on a good place to get seat covers. Not reupholstering, just covers. Do the above mentioned places do that or are there places in Darley road where one can get the same?

Thanks in advance
