Suggest a car with good 2nd market under 4 to 6 million

Due to some reasons, I need to buy a car within 4 million to 5 million budget. I want this car to be sold within 1 year and buy another one. So it should have good 2nd market value. 
 

I work from home. So I don’t drive cars everyday. Only for short rides. Is it true Hybrid cars are not suitable for this use case? If yes, please suggest me some car options

Get an old 2013 Nissan leaf if its strictly for short rides. Nothing wrong with hybrids. Hybrids have issues if you dont drive them for too long, just like most cars.

If you must burn 5 mil:

Fit GP1, Picanto, Perodua Axia, WagonR, Vitz, Swift beetle are some easy choices to buy, use and sell these days.
