Recently, got the opportunity to see and get inside of The one and only Japanese V12, Toyota Century(a.k.a Japanese Rolls Royce). Is it really upto Rolls Royce standards? Nope, I don't think so. Items like Switches and mirror housings are in plastic. But, we can be assured that the dashboard will not light up like Christmas and would run forever....· 1 reply

The cost of renting something for a month or two (even more - personal imports have been quite messy of late) made me wonder if it actually makes sense to buy a quickly disposable car and get rid of it in a couple of months - but it seems the 'popular' models aren't moving. Hello experts,
I lately considered buying an Elantra 2011/2013 for its elegant built and comfortability. Well, it's quite over-priced right now (what isn't!) but im very much concerned about the spare parts and maintenance routine. So, if anyone could advice me on the followings that would be really great,
Fuel economy
Cost and accessibility of spares
Any default (headach-ing) troubleshoots
And etc..
I know there were some threads before but I'd like to know the perspectives at present, given all the problems with imports and inflation.
