I’m planning purchase a second hand Citroen xsara car. It is 2001 1.4L petrol model and got as brand new. Can you share your views on any known problems or other things which I should consider before commit on it

Do believe you are looking at the first gen Xsara. I do not see any problems in the Xsara as they do not have the adjustable suspension used in other Citroens. Also the engine should be straight out of the Pug 206, 307. SO parts wise you should be able to get parts from carmart if they are not available with the agent.

Its overall a good car, comfortable and very fuel efficient as well.
