hey guys, i was out on a business trip to dubai. went for lunch to Burj Al Arab and saw these 3 beauties parked out side the hotel. Man!!! what a sight!!!!!!!

Lalithster, i guess we will all have to come USA to own one of these cos US is cheapest place to buy these cars cos in in SL it will cost of a Million US at least.

Heard Last week that the Duty has gone up by around another Rs 150000 for a car valued around 3 million.

I am going to have disagree with you there. I think Dubai or the EAU is the cheapest car market because even in the US we have to pay taxes (duty) though not quite as high and even on top of the US taxes I had to pay a luxury tax since my car was over $50,000 and a gas guzzler tax because my M3 is rated at 15 miles per gallon of petrol. I doubt the oil rich country of Dubai has to pay a gas tax.

I have seen Ferraris, porsches, massaratis, and Austins in SL. I know there is a lambo dealership in India, I guess the next step would be a Lambo in SL

hehe. the cars are owned by the hotel machan. check the number plates. similar number. they even let me sit in the car and check it out. there were a couple of rolls royces, merc s-class and some range rovers as well but unfortunately my car arrived from the valet parking so cudnt hang around for long.

yep, ur right. vehicles r cheap in dubai. the hummer H3 brand new cost only 90,000 Dhs, thats around 3mill srilankan rupees. the new s-class cost around 12mill srilankan rupees there. didnt check out the price for the lambos and astons. he he

im not really sure about that, but i can check and let u know. il be going again in end of june. so i can check out the prices of the evo and let u know. there r loads of right hand vehicles for sale in sharjah. they r parked in a public car park, around 500-1000 vehicles. mostly jeeps. prados, pajeros, pathfinders, nissan petrols etc.
