Bmw E36 & Audi A4

Can anyone send ideas about comparison of BMW E36 & Audi A4 (Say 1.8L) in terms of Comfort , Performance ,Fuel economy,Durability and any other.

Buy The Audi! It is a truly well engineered car with a superb interior and build quality. The 3 series BMW is the bargain basement-a car for those who aspire to the badge unlike the 5 series and above. 3 series suffer from all sorts of niggles and hardly offer satisfactory levels of performance. A 318 is underpowered whilst an A4 1.8 is adequate. 1.8 Turbo A4's are great and more fun than the 2.0 versions even. The Bmw suspension is no match for the one in the AUDI and the quality of the Audi inside and out is far superior to the BMW. I must add this only applies to the 3 series.

The only saving grace for the BMW is it's rear wheel drive set up which makes it slightly better balanced.
