Yes its a very good car. Quite comfortable, reliable and most of all economical. The only problem being a relatively older model, the cars would have run a lot.

Key is to find a car in good condition.

well i have a 1990 carina my road

its a pretty decent car i would say.runs about 9-10 Km per liter of petrol and very comfy and has enough room inside for 5 people.

But its hard to find a car in good condition.body parts are available but have to go around colombo looking for them

One of my friends own one 1999 Ti. Have driven it one or twice, and I'm pleased with it. Based on his comments its quite economical too. IMO, it is a good car yes!

It's a very good car, having all the things looked for by SL car buyers. excellent reliability ample availability of spares. most grease monkeys know how to fix them.....
