I am not a great fan of the Prius but I thought it returns extra urban MPG of about 50+ and urban MPG of about 40+.

It might be down to the driving style of the person who drove the prius as in high revs the petrol engine will cut in significantly and take away the advantages of the hybrid system.

yeh i remember watchin an episode on top gear where they proved a standard petrol engine car puts out less carbon emission than the prius...cnt recall wut the car was though...think twas a cleo.... :jumping-smiley-013: ......make more petrol cars god dammit if u wnt to stop global warming :angry-smiley-048:
