And also present restrictions on media etc doesn't reflect that good one a country's health IMO
Gummybr
Last Friday when I was on my way home, I came across something that was really pathetic. A mid aged lady got into the bus with her kid looking all normal.. But to my shock she started to say that she and her husband are employed but due to the high cost of living they cannot survive and that they are compelled to beg. I was wondering whether this has to something to do with any political thingy,,, she paid the conductor and got off the bus and walked away, so am still wondering whether its for real or for some political thingy. Just imagine if this is true how many people in the country would be in the same situ.

I know a family who stays very close to my house and the gentleman is an army deserter who is the breadwinner of the family and the guy doesn't have a permanent job. they have 3 kids but the man earns a living by doing odd jobs here and there... I don't think they have it easy considering prices of goods and services like electricity etc but it's tough to believe that 2 people with jobs cant support a family and have to beg on the roads... There are always exceptions but some sri lankans opt for the easy way out just my 2 cents

Despite the majority of the population been starved to death Ethiopia has one of the largest and powerful military forces in the whole of Africa. Quiet similar to the situation we are in right now. We've beaten Congo with a little effort we should be able to move up the list to a higher position by next year. I know its a tough thing but I'm sure the powers that be will ensure we rank better next year (and beat pesky Ethiopia)
