Nissan Pulsar Fuel Consumption

Dear All, I bought a Nissan pulsar recently its 1999 and 1490 CC. GY series. Auto Transmission one. It seems like the fuel consumption is around 8 Kmpl in city traffic. . actually my driving skills also not good, this is the first time i am driving an automatic vehicle. any idea about fuel consumption? is it normal with this model or? what's your experience? please share... thanks a lot.

Thanks sadath, ill consider about the fuel/ignition system after driving some time. do u have any idea about a good place to do that?

Any idea how much the same 1.5 Manual would do? And CJ1 and CJII is their any difference i am referring to manual?
