Killer Pc Rig Tips!

after going through another similar thread...i noticed that there are a few PC hardware experts on AL

i'm helping a friend to custom assemble a rig... don't wanna go for branded stuff or pre-assembled ones since he wants to pick high end components that's geared for performance.

He's into graphics, digital painting etc and a bit of gaming on the side so a good video card, lotsa RAM and HDD space is a must...

any ideas on possible setup???

yeah its in Sl market, anyway core 2 quard Extreme is not in Sl, but when the Core i7 comes in november quard core prices will drop
