Yeah I heard that a lot. Almost too much power, was hard to have a good grip run without scaring myself half to death hahaha. Thata the manifold you are looking at and not bling just stainless steel manifold which changed colour from heat.

Bet you upset some Toyota enthusiasts with that car

Too right, first engine in was the one in pics. Spun a big end and replaced with an S14 long motor.

Yes lots of upset Toyota heads, but they were just crying zealots. Didnt know what they were missing out on.

Thanks. Gearbox was standard S13 5sp. Didnt have the 2nd gear problems S13s can have due to the reduced mass. Tailshaft was a one piece made by Hardy Spicer. Diff was out of a jap spec AE86 disc brake rear end with a Cusco 2way centre.

like the sleeper looks too :)

especially when we have so many blinged out, fake NFS type cars running about barely being able to keep up with a completely stock car

owner must be still modding it though... rear alloys are different from the fronts

I'm new to the forum... most of the people who owns these type of cars do not care of the looks. I also have seen many pics in the web with different alloys. I'm also looking for deep dish alloys for my AE85 for a long time. Help appreciated to find a set.(4x114.3PCD)

As far as the engine is concerned best NA engine is the 20V BT/ST for this chassis.(Of course with Toyota DNA) Else the 16V engine with supercharger/turbo charger (4AGZE/4AGTE). I prefer NA option.
