Does anyone know if the Dehiwala Flyover construction has started.

They were to start work on the 15th of March.

Also any new of the 2nd phase work at the Nugegoda flyover.

Heard that the government is in bit of trouble in the monetary department. Even government worker salary payments is difficult it seems. Hope the war ends soon so, that burden is off and the recession to ease off. I guess the only way out for SL is to get the cleared areas in north and east to contribute to the GDP. Especially farming and stuff.

Nope, nothing in Dehiwela.

Saw the bridge footing locations were marked on the road sometime back.

they took soil samples , dig up the road - did a shoddy job covering it up so there are a few knarly pot holes close to the Dehiwala junction now

they've made all kinda markings but construction has not started

more than teh dehiwala junction i think they can use a flyover where the nugegod rail station is and another one on the cross junction few meter ahead where the nawala road begins
