U wanna try??? You got the nearest specimen to try it out… :action-smiley-060:

That's the one. The attendant said Rs.200/- (should be per tyre, can't be for all 4 wheels)

Am I missing something here????

No machan 200 for all 4 tyres. I asked them and also free pressure check for 3 months included. anyways what do you guys thinking about filling N ?

if you followed the thread closely you would know that :) yes, ran 28 and 33 on all four corners with normal air

Hi Harshan,

Are you still using Nitrogen? How is your long term evaluation?

(from what I was reading online, the advantage of N is not that it leaks less, but will contain little or no water vapour)

I recently pumped N2 from the Kohuwala shed, and felt that there was an improvement in ride comfort when riding over roads with small potholes. It cannot be a placebo effect since my wife said she also felt the same :)

Well I'm sure the placebo effect is not relegated to just one person :D Anyways, no comments as I haven't tried it. But this slightly long article should be very interesting reading to anyone who is in favour or against Nitrogen pumping:

I'd say at same PSI, N2 filled tires feel quite tough and hard, but it provides good handling and more stable than normal air. :) But oh my god, the ride comfort on normal profile tires is impossible! :o As someone mentioned before, yes like going without shock absorbers... This was on a friends Mazda2 btw.

Placebo effect=

AZ: Do you feel anything different in the bumpiness of the car? I just pumped a new gas.

Mrs.AZ: yeah, i think it feels smoother

Non placebo =

Mrs. AZ: Did you do something to the car? It feels mroe comfortable...

AZ: Yes I pumped a new gas into the wheels.

:)

Yeah, it was similar to your first scenario :) but what the heck, it cost only Rs. 120 for all 4 tires, and at least it makes me feel good :) There are not many things you can get for 120 Rs :D
