Toyota Tercel / Corsa

hey all i am planing to buy a toyota tercel / or corsa for a price below 1M.... and the thing is there are several options like

EFI model/ Carb model.... and there are 98 brand new cars or 96/97 recon cars.. can any1 tell m what is the best out of these.

note. if any1 has a car below 1M to sell..pls mention the details..

First of all, ease up on the font size man! people on this forum aint blind so there's no need to post huge letters.

As to your question, the EFI engined later cars are always the best choice if you can find/afford them, will be newer, and comparatively have less to worry about if they've been looked after.

There were a few that popped up on the Autolanka Classifieds, just trawl through and take a look

no machan ... i need the 96 or late models... can find 4 less than 1M.. i checked with few car sales @ baththaramulla...

As Supra pointed out the EFi vehicles would be best. You will have to do some looking around to find an unmolested car in good nick under a million.

I have seen English numbered ones go at around 11-12.50 range in fairly good condition.

They are good hardly cars, parts are relatively easy to find and relatively cheap.

Haven't come across any under a million in recent times. Just check up on the Autolanka links that Supra has posted, the news papers and the car sales outside central Colombo.
