Hi

Probably it shoud be the semi luxury tax as Ruslan pointed out. but i guess since ours 1800 cc means actually 1794 cc we will not have an issue?

Nope no issue for below that level.

I think u mean the semi luxury tax on vehicles with Engine capacity between 1800 and 2000cc.

25,000 the first year and reducing by 2,500 each year for 7 years. (Last payment is 10k)

Some popular 1.8L cars actually have an engine capacity of just over 1800cc and therefore get taxed...

eg: Honda Accord, Mitsubishi Galant and Lancer 1.8, Nissan Primera and Bluebird SSS with the SR18 engine.

Nissans with QG18 engine have a 1769cc engine and are not subject to this tax. (Bluebird 1.8 from 1998 onwards and Sylphy)

Toyota 1.8L cars and even the Audi A4 1.8 and VW Passat 1.8T also fall below the 1800cc category.

Absurd, isn't it... Primeras and SSS get taxed while the A4 and Passat go scott free...
