Hi all,

My car has Clarion HU DXZ276MP and dash mounted 4'' factory fitted speakers. Willing to upgrade speakers ( new front speakers + rear speakers )

HU output = 50W X 4 ( 25W X 4 rms )

Any suggestions? and price of speakers

No rear parcel tray. So Willing to fit rear speakers on hatch door

He just identified car with HU model ( default alto special edition HU ) + dash mounted 4'' speaker. Only alto and wagon r has it

Even I'm agree as a Alto owner " A*W doing cheap marketing"

BTW back to topic. Any speaker suggestions?. I'm thinking about JBL

general quotations for 4 inch speakers ran in the 2500-3500 range a few months back... do you have a particular brand in mind?

Based on what I found on internet

JBL GTO427 4'' for front

JBL GTO937 6''x9'' for rear

But don't know whether these models are available in SL and price

dunno whether the stock clarion head unit will get the best out of JBL speakers mate.... Pioneer and Blaupunkt do decent 6 inch speakers IMO.

Yes looks like JBL's are around 2 times expansive than Blaupunkt.

So will settle for Blaupunkt 4'' front and 6'' / 6''X9'' for rear

I just removed the hatch door panel. What I felt is, I may need to cut some small area of metal sheet from inside of hatch door to install speakers. Is it ok to cut it

Why don't you take it to someone like Damitha at Advance Audio to figure out how you can fit it? Even if you don't want to get it done there, he'll help you out. Tell him your from the AL forums
