Thx Machan,

The link you showed is exactly what I am looking for but, it was already sold. I checked it few weeks back. Also I would like to take this opportunity to inform the editor to remove the sold vehicles from the list.

Thx

HI, I believe CE110 range around 16 - 18 or so depending on the condition.

I got CE210 Premio for the last 5 yrs, very happy absolutely no problems,

price may range around17/50 to 20 or so .

Depends on what you are looking for, economy wise premio does around 10 per liter in city and out of town it gives me upto 13.5 per liter both with A/c.

If you need power, ground clearance, cabin space and comfort and a good taxi basically the premio is ideal.

Corolla I hear the 2C non turbo doesn't pull well and the low ground clearance.

Though you pay slightly more I am sure Premio will give you a better deal.

Good Luck

This may be irrelevant to you guys... I have heard toyota CE 110 engine requires complete overhaul after running for 100,000 odd kms... I have no idea about the premio engine durability... May be it's a general thingy... But better check for reliability same time u r looking for economy

you heard? tend to disagree mate, these engines can run at least 200,000 without requiring an overhaul .. and with more pampering can reach up to 250,000. Subsequent to a local overhaul they might require the next quite frequent.

I agree with you that with original 2C engine (comes with CE 110) it can run up to 200,000Km. But after that the mostly worn out part is cylinder sleeves. After replacing with Indian sleeves or Polgasovita sleeves (not Toyota genuine sleeves) it will do more than 300,000Km. The same engine with turbo unit (2C-T) comes on

Premio. So the premio engine should wear out faster as it operates with higher compresion ratio.

Vehicle manufacturers develop one engine and they use the same in different models of vehicles. Further, If more power is needed a turbo unit is introduced. :violent-smiley-030:

interesting indeed, based on my experience in spares i thought indian sleeves wear out faster and so does most after market sleeves. Usually an overhauled engine needs the subsequent overhaule quicker

If you have not done a good overhawl or your technician is not good enough you will get frequent overhauls. I got this sleeve experiance through a lotto model Townace I had. Also I would like to remind you that 1C and 2C( first generation engines [without the brake vaccum unit on tappet cover]), they were very good and sleeves were also long lasting. I think that Toyota had used a cheaper sleeve for the 2C second generation engines as they design the engine for limited lifetime.
