Hey guys i heard that the government is considering the removal of duty for cars imported from india. Is this statement true ? can any one confirm it ?

if they do remove the taxes for these vehicles, i think it would be a good think coz then cars would be mjore affordable for the middle and lower class families.

but they should also make micro tax free as well... just to help local industry... i guess micro doesn't have much lobbying power as the indians do

won't be much of a problem. even now there are lot of people who own vehicles but they use public transport coz they cant afford fuel costs.

i was talking about this tax removal with my father and he said that as he knew it this tax removal isnt gonna come into effect till the year 2010...
