Retirement/secretary Car Permit

Hey guys, my dad is getting a retirement permit, also known as secretary permit to import a car. For all i knw is that if it is petrol it should be less than 2000cc and 3000cc for diesel. The price backet for the diesel is below $17800 CIF. Not sure if it is the same for petrol (heard it was around $13000)

Do any of you guys know vehicles that could be imported under this permit? It can be either brand new of JDM. Some vehicles we are currently considering are

1. Montero sports

2. Kia sportage

3. Hyundai santa fe

Any idea if the fortuner will fall within the price bracket for diesel? it shouldnt be only SUVs
