Guys im planning to buy a diesel Mitsubishi Galant which was manufactured in year 2000. is it a reliable car?

Dude Im curious, You've opened at least three similar threads on this diesel car subject. The previous ones had other alternatives as well, and it was quite clearly stated that the galant is probably not the best choice of all the alternatives. But you seem to be quite set on getting a Galant, so if that is the case why bother asking the question at all? especially when its essentially the same damn question over and over again?

sorry about that pal, the thing is i drove a galant few days back and it was really a good car but im not sure regarding its maintenance cost,fuel consumption and the mkt price. so i opened few threads under the same topics because i need some quick replies. im really sorry abt that mate... ;)

Acutuaaly galant is very good comfortable car only thing is spares are bit expensive because it is a heigher grade car. One of my very good friends were keen to buy one but he has given up the idea because of cost of maintenance. If you have money galant is a good buy.

if you love the Galent, go for it, no point of driving a car you dont like even other says it is the best car of the world. Galent might be bit expensive to maintain but it is not impossible thing to do.
