Can't answer you on the first two questions. They are absolutely worth it if the rest of your braking system is in good condition. The advantage is that they don't 'balloon' under hard use and give you good feedback and makes it easier to modulate and much more precise in control.

where can I get these in S.L.how much will they cost and is it worthwhile investing on them?

yep...i think some european cars get them as stock but i doubt you would need them for your average runs...

suppose if you're into racing, especially rallying and the likes the steel covering will serve a lot more in protecting the inner hose...

But bro if its used in an average car it will Reduce the braking distance and will probably help to save an accident or a LIFE...

to do that... the best add on you can have is a smart driver and a car that's kept in good mechanical shape...

a good quality brake hose wont balloon that much in average driving conditions and only fatigue overtime will have some significant "ballooning"

even with that the amount of time and fluid volume loss is marginal to be of very useful to affect your braking distance!
