My Experience :

Speakers (Mid range) - Front and Rear Balupunkt / Pioneer / Sony (Out of which..Blaupunkt gives a good balanced sound clarity)

Tweeters / Presure Tweeters - RF (Rockford Fosgate) / Pioneer

Sub Woofers - RF / Kicker / Balupunkt (Blpnkt bit expensive though..)

Head Units - all Japanese Brands are very Reliable and compatible...i.e. No1 for me is Pioneer 2nd is Kenwwod (i have experienced all these brands...) and Clarion

According to my experience these brands equipped with good amps and engineerd with best quality components...

All these stated brands are available in SL most famous ICE (In Car Entertainment) retail outlets... (jus buy Snday tms and read the HtAd)
