The US is the place where you can sue the coffee place for not warning you that if you spill the HOT coffee you ordered on yourself, you can burn yourself.

and if you ever get off the vehicle when cops call you , they will treat u as a threat and neutralize u by drawing glocks.... something wrong with sri lankans? :P

Saw a Dark blue Toyota Prius Second generation model (with the rear clear lights) opposite staples street cargills yesterday. Is Toyota Lanka bringing these down now? What tax bracket do these fall in?

Speaking on Prius, Toyota seems to be having a lot of headaches with the runaway Prius in US in addition to their sticky pedal issue!

Cheers

I have seen a couple of these. Probably recons. Do you reckon these sticky pedal issues would apply to JDM cars as well or are they just an issue with the accelerator supplier in the US?

There's word out the 'runaway Prius' incident MIGHT have been staged by the owner. Lets wait and see. The problem is the average American driver doesn't know to shift into neutral when the in trouble. Some people are saying the shifter gets locked. But from the 911 call this Prius driver never even attempts it...

The guy making the allegation is not a straight shooter.

Both the second gen and third gen Prius can be put in neutral at any time and any speed.

I think the media is playing a huge part to distance customer from Toyota because it's not an American brand

yes. Because it beat GM to the number 1 spot. Isn't it strange that all these defects are reported by only US customers?
