Hi guys,

i wanna know the difference between BKR5E-11 and BKR6E-11 (NGK)

is it compatible with irridium plug BKR5ix-11?

thanx

The difference between BKR5E-11 and BKR6E-11 is the heat range. First one is more hotter than the latter.

all the other aspects are the same. it is not advisable to switch between heat ranges bcos more hotter plug can damage the engine. On the other hand colder ones do not damage the engine but fouls in a much shorter period.

Irriduim plugs are also available it ends with suffix IX as mentioned. As i mentioned above BKR5E-11 's Irridium option would be BKR5EIX. 11 means the plug gap is 1.1mm. But with Irridium the plug gap is not adjustable i think.

Thanks
