If u watch repeatedly from 6.33 - 6.35 u can see that PP saw the buffer on the floor n keeps moving towards Ashan's car to go over it. Cunning PP knew he was loosing n had to do something to win.

Thumbs up Ashan!.. PP had a better car n experience than Ashan, still he couldn't shake him off. Its a shame on PP to win this way.

Ashan silva is a true winner .That driving was so tempting and that was the best race to watch for me .

Yep not to mention that he managed to beat all the other fancy new cars with his 15 year old evo.

Anyway there seems to be a bit of an argument going on about this in Ashan fb page, lets hope it doesnt get serious.

That last duel between Ashan and PP was one of the best races I have seen in my life. Pity PP decided to end it this way. Congrats to Ashan, the true winner of the race (what a car man, what a car!). Thumbs down PP

However the arguments in the 2nd link is not plausible,---- as it doesn't show what actual happened [as compared to footage from CSN] - from the angle it was videoed.
