Toyota Vitz 2007

Hi mates,

I am planning to buy a Toyota vitz 2007 model unregistered one. Its the standard 1000cc full option model. I need to know whether this is a good choice? R there any known issues for this model? any users please update me on the fuel consumption please.

I have been using a 1000cc KSP90 for a 1.5 years.

There are 3 models as i have seen in the market.

1. 1000cc standard

2.1300cc standard

3.1000cc ill special edition

ill model is special edition with leather interior , teak panel , etc.it like a Mercedes interiour ina vitz.I saw one in kohuwala sale around 3.9 mil 2 months back.

In standard editions only difference i have notice is dvd and sun visors.Others have almost same.

Fuel consumption is 11-13 km in colombo vary on traffic and speed.

Out station 14-18 depend on speed.

i have experienced 18 km on a ride to polonnaruwa with care full ride around 80km/h.

what is the price range of vitz 1300 cc 2007?any idea..

Can you really get 18 Km / L in Vitz KSP 90 (1000CC)? That is too good to beleive. Any other Vitz users that we have in the Forum who can confirm this?

I think the price for Vitz 2007 KSP 90 will be around 2.5 Mn. Right?

Last week one of my friend advanced for a Vitz -1000cc for Rs.25/90. I also went with him and following are the details..

2007 last lap, Silver, dual airbags, 45000km, black interior

Few weeks back this was available for Rs.2.45Mn....Not anymore...1300cc Vitz is around Rs.2.8Mn and upwards...during the past 3 weeks the prices have been increased by a considerable margin....Yen is also appreciating....

Yes I also noticed a rapid increase in unreg car prices recently...Yet I saw some of the guys in the forum still recommend to wait and see if the prices will come down...considering the apprciation of JYen and car prices in Japan I don't think it is a good option.

Just wanted to let you all know that Yesterday another friend of mine bought 1300cc Vitz for Rs.2.75Mn...Since it was a cash deal the seller agreed for that price, otherwise its about Rs.2.8Mn now.

This was going around 2.5mn couple of weeks back. Now that the news comes about the further tax cut, can we expect the prices to come down?
