Are these prices confirmed?

Is this TAX(customs charges) correct? Because I heard from somebody that a customs officer told him TAX for 2008 CRV will be around 4 to 4.4 . Here it is 2.8 only!

Does anybody know more about the tax structure?

According to the same customs officer the depreciation table available from Export/Import department(http://www.customs.gov.lk/news/VEHICLE.pdf ) is NO longer valid.

Can somebody confirm?

Customs duty for 2008 Honda FIT 1.3 was quoted to me as 13.2 by a car sale . But here only .857

no 2010 Mazda 3s in the showroom yet and the 2010 model sold is a 1.6L, the Axela i think is only available in 1.5L or 2.0L variants

1.5L axela is actually more powerful than the 1.6L non JDM models. the lower power inspite of increased capacity is due to stricter emission rules outside of japan.
