Tire Rod

Hi guys i got a problem with my car its start shaking when i speed it up to 45 50 . and i check with the mechanic person he said it because of tire rods . and he said those can fill from a lathe . can some one tel me is this a common issue ? and can i buy and put new tire rods ? (my car is a old one ) or what is the best option . and generally how much will it cost ?

wobbling of the steering? it can be due to not balanced front wheels even. What he said exactly? tie rods or rack ends? Best is to replace the said parts rather than attempting to re-build it in a lathe.

ya i like to relapse . but he said those are not available to buy . can it be true ?

and its tie rod ends . if i go to a wheel alignment place will do they able to fix it ?

what he actually did was jack the car and raise it up and shake the front two wheels and check.

its having some play in it.

What is your car?. Hope that these are available. May not be the OEM/Stocks , but the replacement parts

Use machined one in a lathe could be end with disastrous results too.

its having some play in it.

go to a wheel alignment center and get both the front wheels balanced properly. Wobbling will be eliminated or reduced.
