Your Dream Garage??

Ok guys

We have seen a few threads here on various people's garages and I must admit they are awsome and will always remain just a dream for me.

But having said that......what are your dream garages like? But lets try to be practical here, because most of these people seem to collect these cars purely for the status and the investment value it seems.

First and foremost the garage should be within my reach (no Ferraris for me  ) and my ideal garage should have a "manageable" number of vehicles (so that I could find the time of day to drive and enjoy each and every one of them). Also the vehicles in my garage, I should be able to use the way I want to use them. Not to have it parked 90% of the time and then during the remaining 10% of the time worrying that something would happen to it during my use.

So lets here from you all....

Ok cool.....

Me being a off-road freak...my selection will be more inclinded towards that.

(1) Toyota Hilux D/cab - use it for camping trips as well as off-road competetions.

(2) Pajero LWB - use it for camping trips and pulling my off-road trailer on over landing trips.

(3) Pajero SWB - nippy around town, easy to park and also use it for the odd bush trip.

(4) 300ZX TT - use it when the boy racer in me comes out. Always loved the Z cars.

(5) Mini Cooper (1975) - always wanted one. Have more fun going round the corners than I do with the ZX.

What I would like to have.......

- A fully kitted out PETERBULT (rig/horse/semi/truck). This might sound stupid, but I also have a passion for trucks.

- 1967 Mustang (stock) - not the Shelby, cause I can't afford one.

- Karmen Ghia - most fun you could have in a topless classic.

My garage would include

1--- Lotus Elise -------- personal daily use

2---Land Rover Defender 110---- camily car :)

3--- some average car that the Mrs. likes  for her use

4---Mitsubishin Evo 8

5---S.Line R34 GTR

6---BMW 7 series

4,5,6 would be more or less vehicles that i'd be buying if/when i become filthy rich :D

plus the 'dream garage' would also have to have a remote control gate :D.. i hate the "get down, open gate, get in, drive car forward, get down, close gate, get back in an drive off" process :D

1. 350Z - That boy racer thing Dunc was talking about.

2. European Saloon - (options being BMW 3, A4, or the S40,60 range) (the status symbol  )

3. Kelissa - Town runaround. Maybe a Micro Trend

4. BJ40 - for the off road fun :D diesel goes without saying

5. Nissan Patrol - For the bling driving and road presence. (I'd love to put a Range Rover Sport in this slot, but I doubt that happening in a lifetime :D )

Classics garage obtainable in SL - only that 260Z that I can think of. :D

Hey, foul. This aint a wishlist for super cars. Thats why I left even just a GTR out of my list. Lets put a bit more effort here. And u can't have Saleens, if u making ur dream garage in SL, it can't include the LHD cars.

for a guy like the YelowPages guy a aircraft may not be that funny a suggestion as it is to us.. dont you think?

Machan John Travolta (hope I spelled it correct, its up to our moderators to find and correct if i'm wrong)

owns 2 Boeing 747 private jets. Sri Lankan air lines owns none..

if i own 2, i will put 1 for public transport like colombo - london limited stops or somethin

Yeah it is quite amazing what amount of money some people have.

There are several housing developments here in SA where all the houses are built around a landing strip and each house owner has his/her own air-craft. Each house has it own parking area for the air craft. So some of these people work 1000kms away from home and travel every single day using their personal air crafts.

What a life !

Onr guy, I read, has a passion for collecting DAKOTAs (remember this aircraft?). So he has five parked by his house. Damn!!! I guess they wake up on saturday mornings and have a hard time trying to decide which aircraft to take shopping
