Honda Es8 Maintanace

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I am new to this forum and this is my first post here. My car is a Honda civic ES8 2002. Except that regular service from Stafford Motors what are the other things i have to do as regular changes. I am checking oil and water levels after three/four rides. I have heard/read that it needs gear box oil changes too .If yes when and how can i do this. Is it done with regular service at company or do we need ask from them to do this? Also are there anything else that i have to keep checking/changing?

Thanks in Advance

Is it an Exi or a VTI?

If its a VTI U'll need to change the CVT oil every 15k Kms as said by Hiran

Its an Exi. But not a brand new car. Imported from Singapore. Bit different from other Exis i have seen so far. Got nickle handles etc. Checked available service records and they says i have gone 13000kms after last AFT change. Thanks for all the infor given.

Bro note..that is a Singapore import .... Singapore EXI normally has the CVT since 2001... jus check whether u have these gear positions respectively...

"P" - "R" - "N" - "D" - "S" - "L" if you have these... then that is a CVT tranny ! else its not...

YES..check IMMEDIATELY whether there is a S gear position..since you have mentioned that an ATF change was done 13000 km back.. and if you have done an ATF change to a CVT that scares me big timeunsure.gif
